Aims and Scope

Iraqi Journal of Environmental Sciences (IJES)

Aims

The Iraqi Journal of Environmental Sciences (IJES) is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and promoting innovative research in all areas of environmental science. The journal aims to provide a scientific platform for researchers, academics, and professionals to publish high-quality, original work that addresses environmental challenges at local, regional, and global levels.

IJES particularly focuses on research that contributes to:

  • Understanding environmental processes and systems
  • Developing sustainable solutions to environmental problems
  • Supporting environmental policy and decision-making
  • Addressing climate change impacts, especially in arid and semi-arid regions
  • Enhancing environmental protection and resource management

The journal encourages interdisciplinary studies that integrate science, engineering, and technology for environmental sustainability.
